My source: http://cinemabizarresr.soglam.net/interviews-and-translations-f17/strify-interview-strifyde-t285.htm#4827

Do you know Fräulein Wunder personally?
Yes,
we met the girls in Berlin about a year ago and got to talking with
them by coincidence – in a Burger King. Both our bands used to work
with Michelle Leonard
and they knew us very well from what Michelle had told them about us.
Right from the beginning, we had a great connection to the girls. As
time passed, we got to see them more often and happened to stop by in
the studio while they were recording some songs.

Would you do something for the benefit of the band even if you're reluctant to do it?
Yes,
in order to be successful, you must be willing to make sacrifices. This
applies to every line of business you wanna gain ground in.

How do you feel when women who are not that young anymore (over 30) dote on you, and not only because of the music?
How should I feel? A compliment is a compliment

Do only Luminor and you sing the songs during recording sessions in the studio or are there studio singers as well?
Normally,
there are only Luminor and I. Sometimes, there are also choirs or add
lips recorded by others though. At a live, Luminor sings these parts
most of the time.

With whom, aside from Madonna, would you like to sing a duet?
I like to do the unexpected. This includes remixes. I think a remix by Deichkind would be interesting, as well as one by Fettes Brot or Daft Punk. If I think of what I listen to quite often at the moment, a collaboration with a new American artist called Lady GaGa
might be interesting. I could refer to so many more artists who would
make interesting combinations. And you never know what the outcome if
these might be.

Did you ever have singing lessons or do you teach yourself?
No, I never had singing lessons. I teach myself.

Which band member writes most of the lyrics?
Definitely Yu, Luminor and I. For me as a singer it's often hard to adapt to lyrics I cannot relate to.

What about the music business annoys you most?
Quite a lot. But specifying all this would lead too far.

Who of you is the most forgetful?
Hm, Shin.

Who of you is always last to arrive?
Always Kiro, sometimes me as well though.

Do you believe in kindred spirits/soul mates, and if yes, have you ever experienced something of that kind?
I
think you can achieve about everything when people have faith in you.
[Translator's note: Strify's reply is a bit unclear in terms of
grammar, it could also translate as "...you can achieve about
everything when you have faith in other people."]

What about sex do you like best?
Oh,
that always depends on what kind of sex it is. I see a big difference
between 'making love' and fucking. The latter is a little more
animalistic. And I'm very open to new ideas. It would be boring to go
into details, though. I prefer to have sex rather than talk about
it.

Which physical and mental pain nobody should have to go through?
I
don't know if there are directions to this. You cannot simply classify
things in good or bad. You can learn from and grow along with them. If
you happen to stay in one position, you freeze. And nothing can be so
bad as not to be good for anything. Keeping your passion, your ambition
and your will is what truly matters.

What's the weirdest question you've ever been asked?
This one.

What's particularly important about being in a band?
You have to be honest and always get straight to the point. A band must stick together or else it will crash.

Why is the Potsdamer Platz so important to you?
I've
only recently been asked the same question, but I cannot remember ever
having said that. I do associate something with it, but that applies to
many places in Berlin.

Do you easily fall in love?
Sometimes yes, sometimes no.

How did you become interested in singing?
My passion made me.

What do you think of (Strify) impersonators who take the piss out of others?
Well, if they don't have a life of their own they live someone else's.

What kind of mobile phone do you have?
I have a Blackberry Pearl and tinker with the idea of getting an iPhone.

What are your favourite books?
The Picture of Dorian Gray by Oscar Wilde.

Why do you mostly write your blog entries on MySpace in English?
Because I'd like to improve my English and that's most easily achieved by practising.

Are you really not a 'morning person'?
Yes, just like almost everybody else in the band.

What is more important when you put make-up on, the overall picture or something in particular, e.g. the eyes?
If
you don't mind the overall picture, you'll always look like shit. The
greatest shirt loses its charm when combined with something that
doesn't fit.

Were you good at school (grade point average)?
Only moderate because I was very lazy.

Do you read fanfiction, and if yes, which topic do you like best?
No,
I prefer to live my life rather than thinking about possible or
impossible imaginary ones. But it's perfectly fine when people are
passionate about it.

Could you imagine becoming a model if you'd receive an offer?
I'd certainly say that I'm not a typical model. But if I had an offer I like, I'd definitely accept it.

Would you completely abstain from eating chocolate one day?
Yes, I already did.

What would happen when burglar broke into your flat and stole your notebook?
Shit happens.

What kind of pet would you get for yourself?
I'd love to have a dog, a French bulldog or a pug.

Did you really want to become a butcher?
Yes. *haha*

What's the boldest or most amusing question you've ever been asked?
How long my dick is.

Is there something you're allergic to?
Lactose intolerance.

Are your video shootings and concerts all planned out? Or do you have "free hand" to some extent?
So so, but we always have free hand.

Do you still respond to your given name at all?
Yes, it's not as if I had abandoned it and led a double life.

Would you sing some parts of the next Cinema Bizarre songs in other languages (e.g. Japanese)?
Yes, I already thought about inserting Spanish or French parts.

What do you think of Evanescence?
A few years ago, I was a big fan and am still very impressed by Amy Lee's voice. I think Silent Scream was definitely inspired by My Immortal.

What concerts have you been to already?
Whew,
some. Mariah Carey Gwen Stefani, The GazettE, Miyavi and I got to see
several acts at Rock am Ring 2006, namely Depeche Mode, Placebo,
Juliette and the Licks and Nelly Furtado.

Which magazines do you like to read?
Vanity Fair, Park Avenue, zitty Berlin, Vice and whatever I get hold of.

Which CD did you last buy?
I tend to downloading a lot on iTunes.

Did Cinema Bizarre change your personality or your opinion in any way?
Yes, I learnt so incredibily much during the last year, and many new things happened in my life along which I had to grow.

You like to take pictures, what camera do you use?
A Canon, I dream of a reflex camera.

Are you a Protestant or a Catholic?
I've been baptised evangelic, but I'm not a Christian and don't think much of the church.

What does music mean to you?
Everything.

What becomes of presents you don't like at all?
Unfortunately,
I don't have enough room to store the masses of presents. But I'm
reluctant to throw something away too. I collect the most and give e.g.
the stuffed animals to a children's home.

Could you imagine living abroad? If yes, where?
I think it'd be a great experience for me to live somewhere else. In London, Paris, New York or Tokyo, for example.

Did you teach yourself how to edit pictures and so on?
Yes, by tutorials on the Internet.

What do you think of all the people at your concerts who scream during the songs?
Hm, I'm happy about euphoria and hysteria, but I already had a hard time hearing my own voice because the audience was too loud.

When did you first realise that you need luxury in your life?
I don't need luxury in my life, I simply like it from time to time.

Why don't you like television?
I
prefer to form my own opinion. There are often too little facts, and
opinions reports are based upon are expressed beforehand. Moreover,
most of it is nothing but crap. I don't need TV, I use the Internet.

Would you still like your style if everybody was dressed like you or would you reinvent yourself then?
I'll always reinvent myself.

Do you want to dye your hair?
Did you ever look at my hair?

Do you believe in God?
I believe in energy and in ecological balance such as Yin and Yang.

Which bands would you like to get to see live?
Madonna, 30 Seconds to Mars, Yelle and many more.

Let's assume you were a girl for a day, what would you do?
Things I can only do as a girl.

What's been there first, chicken or egg?
The turkey hen.
